New York Comic-Con is one of the largest entertainment events in the United States. Shows, Movies, and Games, of all kinds, are shown at the Con in hopes of creating momentum by fans across the tri-state area.Like any entertainment driven event, trying to get tickets can be hard. However, if you do not have a badge to any of the days, that does not mean you can’t see some of the hottest entertainment guests.
If you love Dungeons and Dragons and know who Matt Mercer is and what Critical Role is, than you are in luck. Critical Role will be in Little DR on the 4th at the United Palace Theatre, which is located at 4140 Broadway in Manhattan. Even though the prices are a bit steep, if you love this type of gaming than how can you say no? For more details about the event, go here.

P.S. This show and this game has taken up almost every Saturday night of the last six months. Family dinner has segued into family game nights. BTW, I am a Cleric and my husband is a Ranger. Smh.
For those of you that love TV, the east coast branch of the Paley Center will be having their PaleyFest around the same time as Comic-Con. Some of the shows that might pique your interest are The Walking Dead, Outlander, Murphy Brown, The Conners, and that is just to name a few. If you love David Tennant (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones), here is your moment to profess how much you love the shows that he has worked on.
Just so you know, the venue is nice and intimate and you might get a chance to rub elbows with your favorite show’s cast before or after the event.
If you are interested in going to one of these events, please be mindful that members of The Paley Center get first stab and then the general public will get a shot to get tickets. For more information, click here.
If I hear of any new events that may coincide with The Con, I will post it on the site!
