This news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Nick Nolte has joined The Mandalorian. He will be joining Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano. No Specifics on who he will be playing. THR

If your inner child needs some new Star Wars content over the weekend, you can watch the first few episodes of Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures over at YouTube at the Star Wars Kids page.

We’ll meet Juggie’s Mom before the holidays:

If you watch shows via Facebook and you are a geek that loves all things that go bump in the dark and space westerns, than you are in luck. Facebook has acquired the licensing for Firefly, Buffy, and Angel.

Harry Potter’s Ruper Grint has joined M. Night Shyamalan’s Apple series. which is currently untitled. He will join Lauren Ambrose and Nell Tiger. The show is a half-hour psychological thriller written by Tony Basgallop (24: Live Another Day) and executive-produced by M. Night Shyamalan (Wayward Pines), who will also direct the premiere. Follows parents Dorothy and Sean Turner, who hire young nanny Leanne Grayson to help care for their newborn baby… but, as with any Shyamalan creation, there’s a twist. The show has a 10-episode straight-to-series order, but there is no premiere date set. Deadline

Now, while the geekverse lamented the fact that Netflix cancelled Daredevil, Marvel issued a statement that should give fans a little hope:

“Marvel is extremely grateful to the huge audience that loved Marvel’s Daredevil,” said the studio in a statement issued earlier today. “From the moment of young Matt’s first act of heroism to the birth of Page, Murdock, & Nelson, it has been a unbelievable journey. We are incredibly proud of the amazing showrunners and writers starting with Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight, Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie and Erik Oleson, Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio and our casts who brought our characters to life with such excellence, and every one of the fantastic crews in NYC. We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future.”
