When Star Trek: Discovery came into the existence via the rumor mill we all thought that it would be must see TV, which it is. It has an impressive and likable cast and the writing is strong.
However, if you for some reason or another have plans and forget to DVR the latest episodes…your shit out of luck.
CBS expects you to buy an app and pay a monthly fee to watch the latest episodes for this little jewel of a show that is not set in the forensic, police, or military world.
Even of you already have cable, Amazon, Hulu, or whatever service or whatever method you have to watch your favorite shows.
This may a troubling sign for the future…or may be a huge a mistake for the network.
